We won't send you to sleep by telling you about all the high-tech equipment we use (unless you're into that sort of thing) but we will tell you that we only use top of the range equipment. Our speakers, volume and light action are perfectly balanced for your event. This means that your prom won't have the same sound, light action and volume as your Grandma's 60th birthday party. (Unless your Grandma happens to be Kylie Minogue)

As with most parties the age group of guests does tend to vary none more so than Birthday Parties.

Due to our extensive collection of music and music videos ranging from the 1940’s right through to the present day we are confident at being able to entertain all ages from 1 through to 101!

Our music collection is constantly updated to reflect the weekly UK Top 40 we even have access to future releases!

As it is your special birthday we want you to be able to select in advance any songs you feel we may not play as standard. This is why with every booking we will include a Song Request Form that you can fill in and send back to us before your event.

Here at JK Entertainments we pride ourselves on the highest standard of service therefore if you have any ideas in mind or specific themes that you would like our help with we are more than happy to help. One of our many special touches would be to play the number one song from your birth date if you wish.

JK Entertainments have entertained a large number of corporate partys events. We are able to play music from any era from the 1940s to the present day. Arranging an event is a complex job to undertake with a great deal of responsibility, JK Entertainments are able to help and guide you with advice. We will be happy to talk to you make sure the function is tailor made to suit your requirements.

When booking JK Entertainments for your function we will discuss your music preference and format for the nights event. We always make sure we arrive early to set up long before your guests arrive. JK Entertainments have worked at many of the top venues in and around the Midlands.

If you are booking a Hotel or Bar for your Corporate Event/Party, before you book please make sure the DJ has access into the venue and can park to unload without getting a ticket! If you are an event organizer or venue banqueting manager, we can arange to meet you at your venue to discuss your entertainment requirements. We like to meet at your venue so we can establish your exact needs, such as set up locations and sound and lighting requirements.

How much do you charge?

This is obviously a very important question and one that you will want a straightforward answer to. We do not operate a “package” system or charge by the hour like other companies. However if you are looking for a £100 disco or the cheapest quote, JK Entertainments probably will not be the company for you as we won’t compromise on quality or service for the sake of a cheap price. However you may be surprised on what we offer and how affordable our prices are so before contacting us for your personalised quote please ensure you have the following information to hand:

How Will The DJ's Dress?

We have a smart and appropriate uniform which allows our DJ's to work comfortably and makes them easy to identify should you or your guests need to speak to them.

This consists of Black Polo Shirt with our logo embroided on it and Dark Trousers. We also have suits and ties for the more formal event.

We do not wear Jeans and will always dress in an appropriate manner.

Whilst we have never found an occasion where this dress code hasn't been appropriate we will of course be happy to dicuss this should you have any concerns.

What Backup Systems Do You Have In Place?

We use top of the range professional sound, Video and lighting ‘NOT’ your low cost set up equipment this then ensures the best possible quality. By using both CD Players, laptops and MP3 Players should one fail we can always complete the evening using solely the remaining piece of equipment. We carry spare amplifiers to every booking so we really have got every eventuality covered

Although it has never happened, because of the number of DJ's that work for JK Entertainments.com we are always flexible in the event of sickness or an accident we would simply ask one of our other DJ's to step in to still give you that night to remember

Our Requirements?

As a professional mobile (video) disco we are fully equipped for every eventuality.
All we ask is for:-

• An Area of Ideally 4m x 3m without video screen, with Video screen 8m x 3m
• Two 13 amp Mains sockets within 10 metres of where the disco is to be located
• A Safe Enviroment
• Please bear in mind that our DJ's can work long hours light refreshments and soft drinks will always be appreciated

Will I Get A Wriiten Contract?

Yes, once we receive your deposit we confirm your booking in writing meaning we have a legally binding written contractual agreement.

This guarantees total peace of mind for our clients who can relax knowing that everything to do with their booking is finalised.

Playlists and Requests

We welcome a playlist giving us an indication of your favourite Tunes Artists or Bands. These help us to get an idea of what you are looking for. Ideally we would suggest a maximum of 25 tracks or artists on your list to ensure we can incorporate other requests and a balanced.

We will of course also play reasonable and appropriate requests from your guests at the function to ensure they too can hear their favourite tunes.

Don't forget you are paying for our expertise in keeping the dance floor full, so we will incorparate tracks from playlists or requests where we feel they will they work best.

What Insurance Do You Carry?

As a professional Mobile disco we like to do things properly and make sure we've got every angle covered. Therefore we carry the following insurances.

Public Liability - £2,000,000

Equipment

All our equipment is insured so that if for any reason it gets damaged or stolen it won’t affect your special occasion

Vehicle Breakdown Insurance

Whilst we hope we never need it (we havent so far) all our vehicles are covered by RAC breakdown insurance, so you can be sure we will get to you.

Terms and Conditions

Agreements with JK Entertainments are negotiated between J Jones / K Jones The Booker is subject to the following:

Confirmation must be signed and returned within 14 days of issue to guarantee booking

Any cancellation would forfeit the deposit, if no deposit taken 25% of the total agreed would be invoiced.

Cancellation up to 14 days prior to the Disco/Entertainment will be invoiced at 50% - less than 7 days then the full amount will be invoiced.

No responsibility for damage, personal injury and non-fulfilment will be taken on by JK Entertainments, but every safeguard / attempt is assured.

Work completed without payment received before your event or on the night, will be re-invoiced after 28 days with a 10% increase on the original amount, then another 10% per 28days outstanding.

It is the responsibility of the Booker to inform J Jones / K Jones of any restrictions, i.e. Noise Limiters - Time Restrictions - Smoke Detectors etc.

At no time during the Disco/Function/ Entertainment should the ratio of Parents/Guardians to minors be greater than 1 adult to 10 minors as it is the hosts responsibility for the heath and safety of those minors (under 18 years old)

It is the Bookers responsibility to ensure suitability of the venue - it must comply with:

a) access being clear, a route of no more than 100mtrs from adequate parking, for loading in and out,

b) Sprung dance floor where jumping, stomping, heavy dancing and stamping resulting in the music Jumping. The DJ is within his right to either not start or finish when jumping music repeatedly occurs.

Any damage to equipment whether it be accidental or deliberate, the Booker will be invoiced for repair or like for like replacement, then it is the responsibility of the booker to invoice the guilty party to cover the costs.

If any of these terms and condition are not met the DJ has the right not to finish the event however the full amount will still be charged as stated in the signed contract.
